How to make a claim.

1. Call your carrier's claim number.

Most carriers will answer claims calls 24/7. Scroll down to find the phone numbers for each carrier's claim department.

2. We will follow up with you.

There's no need to notify us that you filed a claim - it will automatically show up in our system. However, we may give you a call after your claim is filed to make sure you're happy with the way it has been handled.

3. We're here for you.

If at any point you are unhappy with the way your claim has been handled, or are confused about your deductible or communication with the adjuster, please don't hesitate to let us know. Often your agent can call the carrier on your behalf to clarify any issues or move the claim along in your favor.

How do I stay updated about the claim process?

Once you file a claim, you will be assigned a claims adjuster from your insurance carrier. Typically they will be your point of contact for the remainder of your claim.

How do I find out my deductible?

There are three ways you can find out deductible if you don't remember what it is. First, if you can locate your policy documents from when you signed up, it should be listed there. Second, you can log into your carrier's website and find it in your policy documents. The third option is to send your agent an email or give us a call and ask.

How long does the claim process take?

Every claim is different and the outcome depends on the specific situation. If it's a simple claim like a windshield replacement, the claim process will most likely be very quick. If the claim stems from an accident involving more than one car and there is an active investigation to determine who was at fault, then you can expect the claim process to take a bit longer.

What happens if I'm not satisfied with the outcome of the claim?

If you think you've been wronged by the claims process, please let your agent know. Sometimes we can reopen claims or help move them along in your favor.
